High Definition Cinematography, Third Edition ReviewI am a professional documentary filmmaker at the University of Pennsylvania, and because I am young and early in my career, I got this book to improve my skills in cinematography. It's not a terrible book, but I wasn't able to get anything useful out of it. It seems to be the same information I learned simply by doing a lot of research when buying my HD cameras; information I got from various websites and just by reading camera reviews. Though I suppose it does get a little deeper in the technical realm, this isn't what I thought of when I wanted to learn more about cinematography. I wanted guidance in the craft and art. This book doesn't provide that, so if you only want technical info about how HD cameras work, this is the book for you.High Definition Cinematography, Third Edition Overview
